About Izakaya Tonchinkan
Located in the heart of Arcadia, Owner/Chef Yamato Miura brings flavors from Japan to the San Gabriel Valley. Tonchinkan Izakaya’s ambience, wide selection of beers, Japanese sake and Japanese style tapas provides a truly unique dining experience.
The menu provides customers with a wide range of tastes, from the familiar, to foods that might seem a little exotic to the uninformed customer. Mr. Miura’s knowledge of food is expressed through Tonchinkan Izakaya’s rotating menu that changes daily based depending on daily market, seasonal availability and peak enjoyability.
Bento (Catering)
Offering Japanese style bento box lunch/dinner which is consists of a variety of small dishes, and rice. Menu changes frequently and randomly without notice. Pick-up and delivery are available upon request, fess may occur depending on size of order, and distance.
Private Event
Turn your birthday or special event into a Japanese Izakaya Night. Book our entire restaurant and have your own private experience with your favorite people. We offer upto 50 guests for standing style meal, or 30 guests with chairs. Pricing varies depending on how and what will be served, in other words we are very flexible to customize your own Izakaya experience.
*We do have Sushi Omakase Night on Sundays, however it is strictly limited to 8 guests per night and invitation only.
